The FIFA 23 release date has been leaked in a fresh report. EA has yet to unveil this year’s FIFA instalment, but it’s likely to change in July, and the game will debut in late September or early October for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, as it always does.

While EA has yet to formally unveil or date the game, a key industry insider has chimed in with a release date.

The report comes from Tom Henderson, the industry’s most renowned leaker. According to Henderson, the game will be released in September rather than October this year.

Henderson has explicitly scheduled the game for September 30, 2022, a Tuesday. Of course, EA Play subscribers will be able to play the game a week early, for up to 10 hours, so fans should be able to get their hands on it as early as September 23, 2022.

As you may be aware, FIFA 23 will be the final FIFA game, with the long-running connection between EA and FIFA ending after this release. The former will continue to publish soccer/football games, but it will now be known as EA Sports FC.

There’s no news yet on whether the game will abandon the PS4 and Xbox One with this instalment, but it’s unlikely. What is more likely is that the Nintendo Switch will be left behind, but there have been no indications of this as of yet.

For the time being, take this rumoured release date with a grain of salt. While Henderson has proven to be dependable on several occasions, the reality that everything here is unofficial remains.

Furthermore, even if it is correct, it is vulnerable to change. EA has yet to comment on this information and the release date it contains!]

FIFA 23 Player ratings could be revealed in September

The release of Ultimate Team ratings for the new title is a much anticipated event on the FIFA calendar, and we’ve now learned when this will happen.

According to FUTZONEFIFA, a trustworthy FIFA source, the official ratings for players in FIFA 23 may be revealed in September, which is comparable to the timeframe in which gamers were treated to numbers in the previous game.

In addition, he has stated that new Icons and Hero cards would be revealed to fans in August.

Granted, leaks happen all year, so we’ll definitely receive some in the form of that sooner, but the official release from EA will be sometime during these months.

This is somewhat disappointing for fans as September is when the game is actually speculated to be released, so we’ll be waiting a good while for the news which is a shame.

Either way, it’s something to definitely look forward to in the FIFA calendar!
